Is Your Employee Engagement #Jollygood?

Here at LMC, we have lots of tools in our engagement toolbox with our team members. One of our favorites is the monthly Wellness Challenge. Each month, we use our private internal Facebook page to share a new challenge focused on a particular aspect of personal wellness. We’ve had drinking water, mindful eating, exercise, getting outdoors, reading, positive self-talk, and many others. It suits our culture so well to take a broad approach to health and wellness – physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, personal success, even social. We share our progress with a unique hashtag followed by our own initials. For example, for the water challenge, we used #drinkup, so I tagged my posts with #drinkupac.

Recognizing that this time of year is difficult for a lot of people and for many reasons, this month’s challenge is to do our best to purposefully enjoy some seasonal events, sights, traditions, movies, music, and more to help us focus on the positives – no matter how small - this season. There aren’t any rules about what qualifies, so we’re sharing everything from holiday lights downtown to moments of joy or humor to cozy work from home days with pets by our side. Our hashtag? #jollygood!
